Junior Account Manager

About the role:

Arovo’s international activities are growing rapidly, in particular with the MasterChef brand. As a Junior Account Manager, you will support the sales process and manage customer and distributor relationships across the globe. You will work closely with the commercial team to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the company's growth. This includes managing client portfolios, identifying sales opportunities, and providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing Client Relationships:
    1. Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.
    2. Act as the first point of contact for clients, both via phone and email.
  2. Identifying New Opportunities.
    1. Assist in finding new clients and markets.
    2. Analyze client needs and market trends to identify sales opportunities.
  3. Order Processing and Administration:
    1. Coordinate the full sales process, including quotations, orders, and delivery.
    2. Ensure accurate administrative handling of client data and sales reports.
  4. Team Collaboration:
    1. Work closely with purchasing, design, and product development teams to meet client needs.
    2. Assist in preparing presentations and pitches for clients.
  5. Trade Fairs and Events:
    1. Represent the company at (international) trade fairs and events.
    2. Actively contribute to the setup and presentation of products during these events.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in a commercial field (e.g., Commercial Economics or International Business).
  • Experience: Some experience in sales, account management, or a similar commercial role is preferred.
  • Languages: Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and client focus.
  • Technology: Experience with CRM systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Affinity with design, trends, and consumer goods (e.g., household products).
